Whether it's the scents of sharp pine, baking gingerbread, candied
peppermint, or something else altogether that gets you into the holiday spirit, prepare to be transported. Bath & Body Works is launching 40 new fragrances brand-wide, available now, and a straight-up
jolly amount of them are holiday-themed. (As if the beloved brand was skimping in that department beforehand. Pshaw.)
That
means there truly is something for everyone, whether you're looking to
dive right into wreaths and carols and Yule logs, or taking things a
little more slowly out of respect for your girl Thanksgiving. Hold off
on playing Christmas music all you want, but there isn't any harm in
easing a little cheer into your everyday routine with one of the new
body washes. The Holiday Traditions collection will return, with
classics like Vanilla Bean Noel, Winter Candy Apple, and Twisted
Peppermint, and new additions like Spiced Gingerbread Swirl.
Those
four tend to speak for themselves, but there are additions in the
Winter Fragrances collection that you'll need to smell for yourself,
like Snowflakes & Cashmere, Black Chamomile Sleep, and Sparkling
Nights. Black Chamomile Sleep's calming blend of bergamot and chamomile
oils promises relaxation and a rare moment of quiet in a busy season,
and even the description of Sparkling Nights has my mouth watering: a
"fresh blend of iced pear, sheer freesia, sugared coconut, sandalwood,
and white musk."
Plus, if you're hoping to bring a holiday glow into your home as well
as your skin-care routine, the brand is also releasing an array of new
scents in their room-filling, three-wick candles, like Fresh Sparkling
Snow, Cherry Frost, Peppermint Brownie, and Cinnamon & Pinecone. And
as if this embarrassment of riches weren't enough, Bath & Body
Works is even dropping a world-premiere new scent that they assure
longtime fans is like nothing we've ever smelled. It's called In the
Stars, and it's described as "a warm, sparkling blend of starflower,
sandalwood musk, sugared tangelo, white agarwood, and radiant amber."
Is
anyone else in head-to-toe goosebumps? I don't want to speak too soon,
but if In the Stars plays its cards right, it might end up next to previous Bath & Body Works luminaries like Cucumber Melon, Sweet Pea, and Plumeria, making it the ideal stocking stuffer this holiday season.
The new and long-loved scents are now available on
bathandbodyworks.com.
