Lisa Eldridge is launching her first solo makeup collection, just in time for the holiday season.
The celebrity makeup artist, star beauty vlogger and creative director of Lâncome has been working on a trio of limited-edition lipsticks launching on November 19, reports WWD. The lipsticks boast a formula that Eldridge claims resembles velvet.
"I hadn't planned to create a lipstick, but I had a dream a few years ago about a lipstick with a velvet fabric bullet," Eldridge told WWD. She added: "The surface texture is a huge innovation, as this type of delicate finishing effect with lipstick has never been attempted before mainly because lipstick is a very thick substance."
The lipsticks will come in three variations of bold red, dubbed ‘Velvet Morning,' ‘Velvet Jazz' and ‘Velvet Ribbon.' They will come packaged in shiny gold bullet packaging that also looks like velvet, and will be available for purchase on www.lisaeldridge.com.
But lipstick is just the beginning for the British creative, who was unveiled as the Creative Director of Lâncome in 2015. "I have more things coming, but with more of a skin focus," she teasingly told WWD, hinting at a possible skincare launch in the future. In the meantime, she is also keeping busy with her latest side hustle: a line of semi-precious rings and earrings, which she expanded last week.
