Goop's G. Label has released a five-piece Lilly Pulitzer capsule designed by Gwyneth Paltrow and Lilly Pulitzer's Executive Vice President of Product Design and Development, Mira Fain.
The capsule introduces a new cream and pink large floral print called "Kiss Kiss" created by Paltrow and Fain. The five pieces showcasing the print are a silk maxi dress, a stretch shift dress, a cotton blouse, a maxi skirt from the Lilly Pulitzer archives and a tote bag.
To create the new print, Paltrow and Fain drew inspiration from photos taken by legendary photographer Slim Aaron in the 60s, images portraying Vanderbilt and Rockefeller women poolside in Palm Beach. "These five styles have a vintage, immortalized flair paired with Goop’s modern tried-and-tested silhouettes," Lilly Pulitzer explains on its website.
"I felt so inspired looking through Slim Aarons’s photos of these glamorous, elegant women dressed in Lilly Pulitzer. The opportunity to revisit that aesthetic has been a lot of fun," said Paltrow in a news statement.
The Lilly Pulitzer brand has been ramping up its designer collaborations in the last few months. Recent collaborations include collections created with Target, Starbucks and Pottery Barn. For its part, Goop's most recent collaboration is with Westin Hotels to promote its activewear line G. Sport.
Goop x Lilly Pulitzer is available now online and at Lilly Pulitzer stores. It is also available at Goop's Sag Harbor pop-up. Prices range from just under $90 for the tote to $400 for the silk maxi dress.
